Christmas Morning Mimosa Recipe

Of course, we need no particular reason to enjoy a cocktail with breakfast, but Christmas day provides a great excuse to go to town and enjoy a really good mimosa.

In this cocktail recipe, we have added Aperol to the classic, to balance the sweetness of the orange juice and help kick start the festivities!

We've also created an amazing value Christmas Mimosa Cocktail Package, containing everything you need. Now available at the reduced price of £26.95 (was £29.47). SOLD OUT

Mimosa

Here's our Christmas morning Mimosa recipe...

Ingredients (serves 6):

Method: Add 25ml of Aperol to a champagne flute. Top up with half orange juice and half sparkling wine. Give a gentle stir and serve. Add orange slices to the rim of the glass if you are really pushing the boat out.

The type of sparkling wine you chose will influence the final flavour of the mimosa. We recommend Valdora Prosecco as, although it is sweeter, it has a great balance of flavour. Champagne will give you a dry finish and Cava will give you a sweeter touch. Asti would be too sweet for most people but if you have a sweet tooth, go for it.
